Spendler is powered by a core team of seasoned fintech professionals and forward-thinking engineers, working together to redefine how we spend in everyday life. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, the team brings decades of combined experience in AI, blockchain, banking, and payment infrastructure.
At the heart of the project is Ethan Caldwell, CEO and co-founder, who previously led product innovation at a leading Canadian neobank. Alongside him, Jasmine Roy serves as CTO, bringing her expertise in AI automation and smart wallet design. Blockchain infrastructure is overseen by Leo Chen, a veteran Solidity developer and DeFi architect. Driving global integrations and partnerships is Sophie Tremblay, who previously worked at a cross-border payment network connecting offline merchants across North America.
Together, they form Spendler Labs, the core entity responsible for technology, compliance, and ecosystem development.
To bring its hybrid Web2–Web3 payment architecture to life, Spendler has formed strategic alliances with key partners across regions and industries.
One of the first is FinovaPay, a licensed Canadian payment processor and card issuer. Through this partnership, Spendler issues physical and virtual cards, enabling users to spend SPDL and USDC at any merchant that accepts Visa. FinovaPay also provides secure backend processing and compliance rails.
In Southeast Asia, ChainNova Labs (Singapore) plays a crucial role in blockchain infrastructure and oracle services. They support RWA tokenization bridges, helping Spendler bring utility bill payments, credit history, and loyalty point data on-chain in a privacy-preserving way.
In Latin America, MerkatPOS (Mexico) is integrating Spendler with over 12,000 offline retail locations, enabling QR/NFC-based crypto payments in stores and supporting SPDL-based merchant reward programs.
Spendler’s AI capabilities are strengthened through collaboration with DataFlow AI (UK), which contributes to the underlying agent architecture by optimizing real-time behavioral modeling, trend prediction, and spending path optimization.
On the decentralized side, Spendler works with CivicFund DAO, a global decentralized RWA investment network. CivicFund DAO helps bridge on-chain credit models with underwriters and lenders, supporting Spendler’s future roadmap of crypto-native lending powered by real-world spending data.
These partners reflect Spendler’s global ambition: to make crypto not only transactable but intelligent, contextual, and seamlessly embedded into daily life.
Spendler is not just a product. It is an ecosystem — shaped by expertise, fueled by real-world demand, and expanded through strategic alignment with both traditional and decentralized networks.
